Moca ID is our decentralized identity (DID) that gives you access to Animoca Brands’ 450+ portfolio companies alongside our ever-growing partner ecosystem. 

It will act as your identity proof that can travel with you across the various products allowing you to accrue points and build your reputation across our entire ecosystem (or even beyond). 

These points can be exchanged for awesome benefits only available to Moca ID owners and the reputation you hold, which is visible to all of Web3, can help unlock benefits with our partners (or even other companies).

In time, we envision that the Moca ID will become the premier identity that can help you navigate the sea of both Web2 and Web3 experiences.

This invite code is a single use code that allows users to reserve one of our upcoming Moca IDs and be one of the first to claim.

Being one of the first to claim means you will likely be able to claim that unique handle that you always wanted. Imagine no longer being JohnDoe356.moca but instead of becoming THE JohnDoe.moca.

Furthermore, some of the invite codes will allow you to invite friends to bring along on this journey as well. As the more people you invite the more benefits you get and we will also be providing special gifts to our early minters. (More information announced in time!)

There are primarily three ways to get an invite code:

1. Own a Moca NFT – All owners of Moca NFT will get an invite code and 3 friend codes to invite their friends 
2. Through marketing and social media – We give out invite codes through our various marketing and social media channels. So be sure to follow our Twitter and Instagram.
3. Receive one from a friend – Certain invite codes will provide a set of complementary “friend codes”. These will allow them to invite their friends.

More invite codes will be released over time as we try to balance out the supply and the benefits for our early community members.

The more Moca NFTs the more friend invite codes you get! 

For every one Moca NFT, you get 3 associated friend codes so if you have 3 Moca NFTs you’ll be able to invite 9 friends. And remember the more friends you invite the more rewards you will get!

Inviting friends will give you and your friend a special Moca friends only welcome pack (distributed later) that includes XP and other goodies. In addition we will track the ongoing XP that your friends earn and attribute it back to you so that you get extra XP for spreading the word. Don't worry this doesn't affect how much XP your friends earn at all as it will be coming out of our referral bucket.

Unfortunately the invite code you get did not have any associated friend invite codes with it. But worry not as there will be plenty of opportunities to invite your friends in the future. So stay tuned and follow our Twitter.

Mocaverse is the tokenized layer of web3 culture and entertainment ecosystem, seeded by Animoca Brands. Over the past 6 months, we have experimented with integrating with and opening up the access to Animoca Brands ecosystem via multiple gaming activations.

We realized users have been engaging and enjoying the product but in silo, and missing the most important element in web3 - community. Then we introduced Social Hub - Cosmic Hunt, which is designed in a way to motivate holders to collaborate and get to know each other.

However when we look at leaderboards on Web3 it is only a wallet address. So we wanted to do more and create a true identity for users that can better represent them.

As such we envision that by working with Animoca Brands 450+ companies and tapping into its 700m+ addressable user base, we can build out a vibrant ecosystem. Whereby Moca users will become akin to native citizens that develop an identity, friends and reputation. With the Moca ID becoming their identity and proof that the broader ecosystem can recognize and become the premier identity amidst the sea of both Web2 and Web3 culture and entertainment.
